Before sending in your quilt, I need to have it prepared as follows:
Before sending in your quilt, I need to have it prepared as follows:
- Press and fold top and back
- Trim loose threads
- Square up top and back
- If your border is pieced, please stay-stitch a scant 1/4" on all sides
- Backing and batting must be 3" wider all the way around the quilt top
- Sheets are not acceptable for backing material
Please measure your borders and square it up when piecing your quilt. Excess fabric in the borders will make it more difficult to quilt without pleating and/or puckering. If it is necessary for DearGina to prepare your quilt sections, it will reflect in the price on an hourly basis.
